Kjwan and Vina Morales wins IKON ASEAN grand finals
From Kjwan guitarist, Jorel Corpus’ Multiply site, an entry entitled “AHHH…,” which clearly confirms Kjwan has won the IKON grand finals held in Kuala Lumpur. I think they also passed by Singapore (after besting Philippine eliminations) for another IKON gig two weeks before the grand finals. Here‘s the full story from GMA’s site. I like the direction Kjwan is taking with their career. So much passion, great team effort, independent. I would like to personally extend my congratulations to the band. I’ve crossed paths with some of them at one time or another from gigs or what-have-yous in the band scene, and I know they mean business when it comes to music. That, and the fact that Vina Morales has a lesser chance of stumbling upon this blog entry. Kjwan is hosting a victory party on August 29 over at Capone’s Makati. Lastly, Jorel has lost a lot of weight.
