Happy 2008
I just feel the need to update this blog and post something with a 2008 timestamp. Anyway, it’s not that I’m not working, or “online,” it’s just that I really, really want to break away from my regular online income and double or triple it as soon as possible. Something about holiday inumans, hanging out with same-aged buddies, and the always-true there’s always a relative more successful than me analogy.
Unfortunately, this blog is not making me (that much) money. And, it takes a lot of time to post, to think, to correct. I just can’t post away 2-3 times a day like the others. I enjoy long posts, I enjoy writing about things that obviously don’t make it to the search engines. This blog will still be that, but currently it’s not high on my priority list. I have some “secret” projects. Nothing pinoy-related really, nothing adult. Ok, to give you an idea I’ve spent the whole previous month or two learning about PPC (pay-per-click) and affiliate marketing. I guess I can say I know SEO (search engine optimization) quite well, but it won’t float my boat forever.
Happy new year everyone. 2007 went by so fast, it felt like nothing happened. But the other day I was finally able to reminisce and 2007 ranked high in my life in terms of “years with most action.” I find it silly how we need to open a new page (or better yet, a new notebook) in the diary of our lives just because time says so. It was just 3 days ago people. What you were last year, you still are now, what you aspired to achieve “next year” is now. Nothing really magical happened when the clock struck 12.
