Earlier today I got word from Jules that him and Jean were able to sell bags over at Barat Mode. Considering that their blog is only 8 days old, I think that’s some achievement. In fact, the buyer was even from Dubai, after they realized that the text message was international.
I was also almost able to sell from this blog. In fact, it was already a done deal, then we realized I was selling a pool cue that contained ivory; and unless I want to be fined $10,000…
It got me thinking, blogs have a certain quality that you almost know the author personally. In that way, you trust an author as you would trust a friend; you would choose to buy from a friend over a complete stranger. Now, who wants to buy a laptop?
