My Chemical Romance concert Philippines

January 26, 2008 update

I only have three important things to say, since people who visit this page most probably went to the concert anyway. The show was great, I do have videos and pictures, but like what one commenter said, there are tons already in YouTube. One and two, General Admission and Bronze tickets which sold for Php 400 and Php 600 respectively, were being sold for Php 85 and Php 300 by Smart people walking outside the venue. Even better is you get a free sim card with a 30-peso load if you get the Php 85 deal and a 300-peso load card if you get the Php 300 deal. I wish you didn’t buy tickets so soon or from the gates. Third and lastly, why in hell did they not perform Ghost of You?

January 25, 2008

A little late posting about this concert. Oh by the way, Maroon 5 is also coming over this March. More on that on a later post. My Chemical Romance, known for the songs “Helena,” “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “The Ghost Of You,” “Welcome To The Black Parade,” “I Don’t Love You,” among others, is set to rock Manila on January 25, 2008. It will be held at the Fort Bonifacio Open Field, Taguig.

Ticket prices start at Php 412.00 for General Admission, Php 2,575.00 for the Silver Section, and Php 3,862.00 for the Gold Section. Only three sections for a huge, huge venue. People at General Admission, expect to watch the concert at the screens.

The gig is being promoted by Viva Concerts and tickets are sold by TicketWorld – the one in National Bookstores. Viva Concerts – 687-6181, Ticketworld – 891-9999; www.ticketworld.com.ph.

See you at the General Admission, unless I get a freebie. Anyway, great concerts to start the year. I hope the trend continues till the end of the year.
